Texas

So much has happened in the last 3 weeks! Where to begin. We left a day early. We left Illinois on October 3rd early afternoon. We drove straight through to Houston. Got there around 5-ish. We stayed with DH friend David. Had BBQ and good converation that night. Chloe LOVED having back yard she could just walk around in. Thanks Uncle David!

Got to Pflugerville around 2-3 pm. Finished the paperwork, did a walk through of our darling Manufactured Home. It's amazing. All our stuff already matches and we didn;t even know it! Sat. the movers came and uploaded everything. Sat and SUn did some unpacking, shopping and Monday off to work.

Everyone at my new place is so nice. I fit in perfectly with our dis-FUNctional departmet. They treat melike I have been there for years. Teasing right away, thank heavans. Feels like home!

My cousin and her husband have been so gracious, making sure we are invited to everything they do. Friends that have already relocated here have been inviting us places too.

I joined a book club here in town. Please go and visit Riva's website at drinkarttea.com. She is Chinese and has an awesome place. Game afternoon on Sat, Chinese lessons, art displays, tea ceremonies, etc. She makes designer t-shirts and has beautiful teas that are yummy as well as healing.

As mom said "We don't let the grass grow under our feet!" It helps that we already have friends and family here.

Been to Lucky Dogs, The Tilted Kilt and Chuey's. Plus, others. We live out side of town (16,500 apprx.) but close enough to every thing we need.

It's been a great move for us an we are very happy, though we do miss our friends.

Tonight we went to the local pub and had burgers and played pool. Met some great folks.

  6. Hi Kim, actually in that posting about tarot I said that I was taking a break from readings for a while. I've come down with a cold and have to keep my energy together so I can be healthy for Halloween. I will try and answer your questions then.
