Today

I had such an incredibly shitty day that I actually came home and cried. It's very disconcerting to be accused of being a "weak" employee over something you have NO control over and did not even start to work on until January.

I'll be fine.

UFO's

OK, some of you have crazy kids have requested photos of my UFO's. Here is the one I am currently working on. I am almost done, then I will get it framed. This is a needle point project. I prefer needlepoint, crewel and embroidery over cross stitch.

I will post then next one when I finish this (got to keep you in suspense!)

Now my buddy Calamity Kim is having a give-away. She makes the most awesome-ess stuff ever! Check it out here at Calamity Kim's Apron Celebration G*I*V*E*A*W*A*Y

IF I win, I may have a giveway myself to share!

Saturday

Ahhh, Saturday! I actually slept in. Till 8! Of course, Thursday I was up till midnight (baaad) and was groggy all day at work. Came home Friday and slept all evening.

Went to Hobby Lobby and picked up some floss to replace what Daisy ate, so I can finish a project and got some additional floss to work on a UFO I have had for since I was married. THE.FIRST.TIME. Also, got some sale fabric that all looks remarkably well together. I may make patchwork placements for Easter/Ostara.

Making Meatloaf for dinner and it smells YUMMO! .

Got am awesome book today. Food Cures. A lot of common sense, but great food ideas and recipes for a lot of my ailments.

Tomorrow is Circle. YAY!

Hugs!

Tarot and Santa

So Frances and I met at Fiddler's Hearth for class. Yummy fish and chips for me with a black and tan on the side. Frances, her usual cheeseburger.

While I was waiting for her I pulled 3 cards, one at a time, to see what each card brought to me. As I am beginning it was just words and symbols I got from the cards. But boy when Frances read them! It was amazing how they told exactly what I was worried about and what was going on in my life!

We never did get his name but I very nice gentleman came by to talk to us.
Long white hair in a ponytail and a long white beard (which he let me touch)! He was there taking photos of his grandaughter. He saw the card at our table, the 3 of Swords and the center of the card is a big red heart.

So he came by and talked to us for awhile. He had a lilt to his voice so I think he was celtic. He is a seeker. He talked about how if we could all open our hearts and give of ourselves, the world would be a better place.

Frances and I both gave him a big hug. He was so interesting to talk to and such a peaceful person. We ended our class on that note, because all else seemed insignificant after that.
