Happy Easter!
Happy Easter/Oestara everyone!! I have been busy sorting through these letters from WW II. It is correspondence between a husband and wife. The years so far encompass 1943-1944, a birth of their child and a lot of letters! Often they wrote each other several times a day. Most letters ended with XXXXXXXXXX's, S.W.A.K., cute "I love you's" on the inside flap of the envelope, and lipstick kisses from the wife. Now.,if I can determine the color!!!
I want to do some research on this couple. Several letters were sent to Bertie via J.A. Kirven Department Store in Columbus, Georgia, C/O Luncheonette. Should this be turned into some sort of book? Oooh, not sure if I have what it takes.......
I hope everyone has had a wonderful Easter, Passover, and/or Oestara depending on your affiliation.
Hugs

Easter Table
Here my table decorated for Easter. The cloth is a jelly bean pattern piece of fabric from when I sold Longaberger Baskets, The two crochet pieces are from my husband's mom and aunt. I got those adorable chick and bunny salt & pepper shakers at Target.
I also love using my Lu-Ray china at Easter.

Ham is in the oven, potatoes in the oven, we'll eat in about an hour.
Then I'll watch The Ten Commandments like I do every Easter. I love the old special effects! Plus, I have it on DVD so I can watch it when ever I want. :)
Easter
Happy Easter to all my bloggin' friends! We didn't color any eggs yesterday. I totally forgot and it's just me and the hubby. Today we will have Ham, my husband's awesome scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole (for me), corn (for hubby), and maybe some wine. I'll post a pic of my Easter table later.
In the meantime, here is a photo of me, about 7, with my first pair of bell bottoms from the Easter Bunny. lolol! I wish I had those bells. I do still have the Easter egg I am holding. It has a handle you wind and it play a tune.

Finds
I found a couple cool things at the antique mall. This bunny bank is creepy cool looking!!
And the planter is just too cute for words!!!!
I am now addicted to these ever since seeing all the cute creations made from some of my favorite crafty bloggers.
This was a purchase from Dime Store Chic
Is it not adorable? I want to add it to my doll house....someday it will get finished!

Easter Fun!
Isn't this adorable?!?! I ordered her from Magpie Ethel. Inside was the little bunny ornament too. Wasn't that sweet? She has such a cool blog, too. Collections galore! I don't feel like such a hoarder collector, lol! I also placed an order from her other esty shop E is for Ethel. As soon as it arrives I will post photos. I am on a new collection kick due to the lovely crafty ladies on the left: Creative Breathing, ImagiMeri's, etc. Click their buttons and take a peek!
Ethel was my paternal grandmother's name. I miss her so!

Tired
Went to a Round Rock baseball game with my cousin and her family and my folks. Came home and colored Easter eggs. Celebrating the meal today since my parents leave tomorrow for home.
