Another fun quiz~
You scored as Eastern Pagan. Eastern Pagans come in two breeds; The Buddhist-Pagan, who follows the Buddhist belief of the "middle way" and the Hindu-pagan, who leans to the Hindu Pantheon of gods. Thoughtful, calm, insightful individuals are often drawn to Eastern mythology and thought. Enlightenment is more than a theory; it's a state of mind to aspire to, and there are certain key elements that you've found in the Eastern paths that offer to help you on the journey. Those who seek these paths are often the teachers, the peacemakters and the intellectualists of our world.

Long post
Wedding:
Got the reception all set up. Still need to pay for the wine, champagne and non alocholic drinks, plus pop. Pay for food. Need to get some paper plates etc. Will go to the party store for that or go online to find some cool stuff. Need to get the pins from Wry (I haven't forgotten!!!). *sigh* Mock up of dress being mailed today so I can get it fitted and sent back to Aunt George. Need to measure my head for the head piece and get a small piece of the plaid fabric for Aunt George.
Re-arranged the furniture 2 weeks ago. Appears to give us more room. Change is good. Last weekend went to Indiana to see the folks. Mom brought me back a cool pair of earrings from Mexico and some Vanilla. Supposedly, they have the best. DH got a cool belt buckle and some Sugar Daddy's (mom stole one, lol!). We also got a cool piece of Mexican Pottery.
Mom also found the final Madame Alexander Happy Meal toy I needed to complete my Wizard of Oz collection. I started out with the intentions of getting just the witches, but the Mickey D's by us had 5 that I needed so I got them all. Why do I have this obsession with Kansas? Now I think I need to get the Wizard of Oz Barbie's or at least the Witch which I have yet to find. DH got some cool monster trucks from the toy store for a buck a piece.
Boss has accepted a new job. Still with the company, but under the parent organization. Other co-worker is going to Knasas in August. I am going to Kansas in May for an overnight trip. Have a one day meeting. BUT, got most of the old crew together from my days out there in '05, for dinner. I am sooooo geeked!
Found out that I can keep my current position and just request a move to Austin. Something to think about if this other position doesn't pan out.
Having lunch today at Ju-Rin with the co-workers to celebrate their promotions a couple of weeks ago. Next need to plan a goodbye lunch for boss.

Daughters of the American Revolution
I had my job interview today (via phone) for a supervisor position in Austin Texas. It went well, I guess. It is a "Behavioral" based interview, "Give me an example of... and how you dealt with/resolved it" I was wiped out when I was done. We'll see...

Awwwww!
This is from my friend kansasrose. We have *known* each other for 3-4 years now through MaryJane's Farm Chatroom. She has been with me through thick and thin and kept me bolstered during the rough patch in Kansas. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to visit in person, but it's never mattered. You don't always need to know a person face to face to KNOW they are a true friend. I raise a glass of merlot to you, kansasrose! Thank you
ps. I will be thinking and sending this out later this week.
**sigh**

I know, I know
I have taken pictures of my completed projects and my crochet in the works. As soon as I get the film developed I can post them. Yeah, yeah, I know, but I can't find the software for my digital camera.
Talked to Mom. They are spending another night in Albuquerque due to the weather east. Sleet and black ice. Talked to MIL today and DD and Beau drove down to take Grandma to church, deliver the Easter Basket they made and have Easter dinner with them. F's sis J also joined them at church. Mom says Beau has a nice singing voice and so far we all like him.
Easter (Ostara) dinner consisted of Peppercorn Pork Roast, Potato Salad and Corn. Oh, and a glass of Merlot. *g*

Merlot and Thou

Here is DD from our recent trip to PA. Isn't she a cutie! No pic of new beau though. Rat fink hasn't sent pic and I neglected to get a pic even though my camera was in my purse, GAH!
Chillin' out having a glass of Little Penguin Merlot since I CAN'T ORDER ANY FROM KANSAS~Jen. *sigh* I did sign the petition to change the laws for interstate shipping. Guess I need a trip to KS.
After we give the little butterbean her ep pill we shall be off to dinner with my best bud Delia to Cabana Charleys. We went there earlier in the week with F's big sis J and her hubby B. They were in town to see her sis and called at the last minute. They should be in PA now to see MIL or Mom as I am able to call her. She is the first mom of a spouse/significant other that I have felt comfortable with calling Mom.
Cholestrol test came back slightly high, but not enough to go on meds. YAY! Need to eat more fiber *burp* and exercise more*meh*. I have tons of exercise tapes but am thinking Belly Dance! Wry from other blog made a suggestion on a good DVD, so we'll look.
As I said once in my other blog, I feel like I have nothing significant to say compared to everyone else. *sigh* Maybe it's because I work all day on the 'puter doing reports and other techno stuff. Wait **lightbulb**!
OK, I watched "An Inconvenient Truth" not long ago. Scary. Gore has redeemed himself in my eyes. Don't know if it is enough to vote for him should he run again, but he has brought a lot of good points to the table. Many would disagree since he lives a "lavish" life compared to the rest of us, but sometimes it takes people with excess cash to throw around to get a point across to BILLIONS of folks. Especailly when a few of his points indicate that small changes by all of us result in big changes for our Mother. As Earth Day is approaching, we can all make small changes, me included, to help Mother Earth.
Off soapbox, back to a few minutes of needle punch, then din-din. Much love to my cyber buds!
