The next Full Moon coincides with our Samhain Festival weekend, October 30-November 1, at Circle Sanctuary Nature Preserve. Instead of having a separate Full Moon Circle evening, Full Moon honoring will be woven into some of our activities of the Festival weekend.

In addition, there will be an opportunity to celebrate the Samhain Full Moon with me and my husband Dennis at our home, Oak Haven, on Sunday afternoon and evening, 2-9 pm, November 1 after the Samhain Festival ends. Our home is located just up the road (about 1/2 mile away) from Circle Sanctuary Nature Preserve.
At Moonrise, we will be doing a salute to the Full Moon, Samhain, and Ancestors. We also will be celebrating my 60th birthday and our 25th anniversary as a couple.

As we approach Samhain, we're now in our last big push to gather firewood to last through the winter.
Whether you're an experienced hand with a chainsaw, or whether you'd rather carry logs or run the splitter, we can use your help! And if you have a chainsaw of your own to lend, so much the better!

Thursday, October 22: CIRCLE OF TRANSFORMATION
In this final class, we will be exploring raising and directing spiritual power in sacred circles. We will also discuss working with cones of power, portals, networked circles, trance dance, and circles within circles. Also we'll discuss creating community and Samhain circles.
Please bring:
* a quartz crystal to use
* some light fare food (cheese, crackers, veggies, dip, fruit, nuts) to share
* a chalice to drink cider from
* a personal or household symbol of Samhain to energize

This year's Witches Ball features a celebration of Selena Fox's 60th birthday with cake & song at 9 pm & concludes with a Midnight salute to the Ancestors.

Wow, that sounds like quite an amazing event! Wish I could be there but I will be handing out candy to maybe 10 kids in the hood and feasting with some friends.
